Thinking in terms of 2030-bets

Because I gather a whole lot of signals every week, I keep trying to bring them together into a picture of the future. One of the ways I try to do that is in the form of bets: a testable claim about a pattern I encounter in the newsletter.

Inspired by the LLM-Wiki technique (Karpathy, 2026) and the Vision in Product Design method (Hekkert & Van Dijk, 2011), I let agents dig through the articles every week to fold insights into patterns. I try to lean as little as possible on existing taxonomies, and let as many new patterns emerge as possible (knowing that LLMs still tend to produce the average).

Below you'll find a collection of bets that have emerged over time. Each bet is built from a short claim, an explanation and the source snippets it rests on. I notice that they sometimes don't read smoothly because of LLM-speak, but give it a try!
